In class on Monday and Tuesday we discussed the science fair.
I would like to know what topic you have chosen for the science fair and why.
If you are not going to be completing a major science fair project, what minor project do you plan on completing(poster contest, essay contest, digital photography with essay contest).

I'm doing history fair so I'm going to do a minor project for science and I'm debating between the digital or essay.

DeleteI have chosen to do a topic on fire, and if its "residue" so to speak, can help prevent fires. I/my team decided to do this topic because creating an easily made fire extinguisher/preventer would be a great thing for a Science Fair.

DeleteWell I'm still doing the research but the project is going to focus on sound and heat controlling technology. For example, those lamps that turn on and off if you clap.

DeleteI'm not sure what I'm doing yet, but the concept will be something medical because I want to incorporate my future career, so I'll get some extra knowledge, and it'll encourage me to finish the science fair project.

ReplyDeleteMy group and I have decided to make a poster and this will be a major project. & yes we plan to also do history fair. Our project is designed to figure out wether or not ants are detered by certain plants. We though that this was a good idea, its a problem that everyone has and we would like to experiment this.

If your doing the history fair just look at the minor projects like the poster contest , essay, or take a photo & explain what it has to do with science. If your not doing history fair you have to do a major project ,and you can just click on the links Mr. Schramm posted on edmodo.(or you could always make one up ,but there are lots of ideas on the websites).
