I saw the first law when I saw a crash test, even though the car crashed the dummy still went the same speed as the car.
ReplyDeleteI saw the 3rd law when two cars crash they both put forces on each other.
The crash test dummy still kept going because of inertia.
DeleteThat's a good example of the Newton laws.
DeleteYeah isn't the 3rd law about the equal and opposite forces
DeleteWhen i pushed a slinky down some stairs, i put force on it so it would fall all the way to the bottom. It showed Newton's first law because it did not stop until it landed on a level surface. It displayed Newton's third law when it sprung up then back down.
ReplyDeleteThe slinky thing is cool, I wouldn't of thought of it like that.
DeleteI wouldn't have thought of viewing the 3rd law that way.
DeleteFor Newtons First Law I observed my moms coffee spilling in the car. The coffee tends to stay in motion while my mom is driving but while she stops the coffee spills due to the unbalanced force of the car so the coffee is constantly staying in motion.
ReplyDeleteAs for Newtons 3rd Law during dance practice I am partnered with another peer and in our choreography we press our hands against each others to shadow each other so, we are equally in size but pushing in an opposite direction.
i like the example of the dance being apart of newtons third law (:
DeleteI wonder if the coffee, having a buoyancy force on the cup does anything to change the first and third laws?
DeleteWhile watching a video where a girl hits another girl who was not paying attention, I saw 2 of Newton's laws being applied. When the girl punched the girl, it caused the other girl to land on the ground because the external force applied was so strong that it caused her to move completely. The third law was also shown when the girl applied a force so strong it caused a reaction, which was the girl falling to the ground.
ReplyDeleteI guess especially in fights there are forces!
Deleteyes^ because there are punches that make the other person unbalanced, or when they hit each other and they stay standing. many forces.
DeleteAre you talking about sharkeisha? Lol cuss I used that as my examole too (x
Deletehaha sharkeisha!
Deletenow im going to think bout these forces whenever someone mentions this video lol
DeleteI've never watched the video but good job in using your forces Emberth. You so smart
DeleteGreat examples on using this compared to real life.
DeleteYes in fighting their are forces involved and if you're Sharkeisha your force will be greater and you'll knock them down.
Deletehahahaha this one made me laugh
DeleteOh my god this made me laugh XD
DeleteHave you seen all the hilarious internet memes/pictures?
Like the one where she was a character in Mortal Kombat?
i play football with some of my friends which is an excellent example of newton's first law.
ReplyDeleteEx.
i was running and was going to continue to run to make a touch down until i was tackled.
In that example the person that tackled me was the unbalanced forced the stop my continuous motion.
An example of Newton's first law can be when i was playing with my dogs , i threw the frisbe and it stopped when one of my dogs caught it. An example of Newton's second law is when the foce of my dogs catching the frisbe forced the frisbe to stop and not continue.
ReplyDeleteFor Newton's first law of motion, this week i saw a car crash into a pole. The car was moving and the pole stopped its motion. An example for newton's third law is me high fiving my little brother. his hand had the same reaction as mine because we were touching. there are forces in our everyday ife, and everything i see could be related to a force, such as running or driving.
ReplyDeleteGreat examples but I hope the driver was okay.
DeleteFor newtons 1st law my lil bro either wasnt wearing his seat bell and my mom almost missed a stopped sign but luckily she breaked quickly but the car stoppex and it launched my lilttle brother to the front seat!! It was hilarious but dangerous. Newtons third law van been seen ina fight Sharkeisha applied great force on her victim's face when she punched her & as a reaction the victim's face went back
ReplyDeleteThat's a great / but dangerous example!
Deletenice example with Sharkeisha : )
DeleteNewton's 1st Law: My cat was running at a constant speed and then hit the wall causigng it to stop. Newton's 3rd Law: My dad high-fived the neighbor.
ReplyDeleteNewton's 1st law: I was playing baseball and through the ball, it moved at a constant speed until, due to gravity, the ball hit the ground and stopped.
ReplyDeleteNewtons 3rd law: I was holding the door of the restroom so my brother wouldnt be able to get out, and due to the balanced forces he wasn't able to open it.
Your example for Newton's 3rd law is mean, but good!
Deletei hit a nail with a hammer newtons 1st law
ReplyDeletepunching a wall making your knuckles to break newtons 3rd law
Newtons 1st Law:hitting a golf ball will eventually stop moving.
ReplyDeleteNewtons 3rd Law : jumping on a trampaline as much force you jump on with it ... you will come up with as much force!

ReplyDeleteyesterday i witnessed a fight between two guys. the force of one guy made the other guy fell back. that would be 3rd law. the 1st law would be the guy punching him until his fist touches his face.... :) it was a funny fight
ReplyDeletefor newtons first law i saw my bird flying around the house until it crashed into the wall, she's okay though, and for newtons 3rd law will be whenever my bird hit the wall.my bird had a force against the wall and the wall had a force that pushed back.
ReplyDeleteLol!!
Deletepoor bird, but that is a good example
DeleteFor Newton's first law, when I went bowling the bowling ball hit all of the pins causing them to go everywhere, and for Newton's third law, we experience it everyday by walking, our feet push down on the floor and the floor pushes up on our feet as we walk.
ReplyDeleteGOOD EXAMPLE (:
DeleteAn example of Newton's 1st law is when I was riding the bus and the bus came to a stop everyone moved forward a little bit. For Newton's 3rd law, I saw a plane in the sky and the plane is pushing against the air and the air is pushing back.
ReplyDeleteWow Ashley, great examples, I wouldn't have thought about the plane like that. Great job, chump. :)
DeleteNewton's first law I threw a pillow at my brother because he was being annoying and it stopped once it hit his face. Third law the pillow applied as much force on his face as his face did on the pillow
ReplyDeleteAn example of newton's first law I saw was when my niece was running but stopped and fell when she ran into her brother. An example of newton's third law is when I see birds flying because they use their wings to push the air down and he air pushes them up.
ReplyDeleteI hope she's okay and yes that's a great example. Plus they both had the same force on each other the moment they came into contact.
Deletei really like your example about the bird i hadn't thought about it like that,
DeleteI used Newtons first law of motion b/c i was chasing the person who had the football and when we touched i exerted a force on him while in the meantime he exerted a force on me as well.
ReplyDeleteThat's kinda funny,but great example !!
DeleteAn Example of Newton's first law would be me skating at a constant rate and slowing down because of the wind pushing back and friction. Newton's third law would be me pushing the ground with me feet, with a force, in order to increase my speed while skating.
ReplyDeleteNewton's first law would be me stopping the soccer ball that was going towards me at a constant velocity.
ReplyDeleteNewton's third would be the force I made to stop the ball as we both touched. it bounced back and my foot also moved back.
An example of Newton's First Law is when I went roller skating and crashed into the wall coming to a stop. An example of Newton's Third Law is when me and my cousin ran to each other and gave each other a hug. We both had the same amount of force so neither of us fell.
ReplyDeleteAn example of Newton's first law is when i saw my brother playing soccer because when he kicked the ball it kept on going unless someone else stopped it from going on and on. Newton's third law was also represented because when the ball was kicked the amount of force they placed on the ball the soccer ball exerted the same amount of force on their foot.
ReplyDeleteI saw newtons first law when I was playing a video game. A lady was at rest my when my character struck the lady with a bat and she flew across the street. I saw newtons third law of motion when my character ran into a wall the wall had a greater amount of force because the wall stayed at rest
ReplyDeleteWell something I did that involved forces was picking up my son and holding him in the air.... Something with newtons 3rd law was inserting force into my bed and so it moved
ReplyDeleteLol my bad kind of got it mixed up well as I carried Nathan and held him he was exerting force onto my hands pushing them but my force was greater so he remained up.
DeleteAn example of Newton's first law of motion was when I pushed a rack of stands towards my friend and it continued to roll until she stopped it. An example of Newton's third law was when my brother punched the wall, it exerted an equal amount of force back at him, which made his hand hurt.
ReplyDeleteNewtons first law happens a lot to me because Im always dropping coins and an object at motion stays in motion so the coins just keep on rolling lol and as for newtons 3rd law at work i tried to push this heavy box so i pushed against the wall and we both exerted forces equal and opposite
ReplyDeletemy little sister tends to run around alot but ran into the wall which demonstrated newtons first law because she was at an accelerating motion but came to a stop when the force of the wall acted on her. an example of newtons third law that has happened this week is when i lean on the wall while watching the belles practice. the wall and i have the same force and that's why i dont fall back or fall forward.
ReplyDeletegreat examples with using your adorable little sister
DeleteSince I love to eat ice cream, especially in the coldness of winter, I have at least three cups of ice cream per week. I usually place my cup of ice cream on the table. Now, the cup sits there without movement (Third Law because the cup pushes on the table and the table pushes on the cup, all the forces are balanced), so it stays at rest (First law) unless my hand (unbalanced force) decides to pick it up.
ReplyDeleteGreat example of newtons third law and i am also fond of ice cream in the winter.
DeleteI punched the punching bag and it put a force on me as well. Thus showing Newton's first law. I also tried seeing how fast my car could go 0-60 and since it was stopped it took more effort to get it moving. Thus showing Newton's first law
ReplyDeleteOh did you really?
DeleteFor newtons first law, i threw a football to my dad. It stayed in motion until the concrete or my dads hand caught the ball. Newtons third law was when Earlier on in the week, Amir Johnson from the Tornto Raptors (nba) , blocked Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs from making a dunk. Amir had to have the same force in order to block Kawhi's attempt at a block.
ReplyDeleteGood example!
DeleteI sat on a chair which means that there is an equal and opposite force acting on me and for Newtons 3rd law I did a wall sit and the wall pushed back with an equal force.
ReplyDeleteso im guessing u didnt fall.. :)
DeleteFor Newton's first law, I went out for a run but due to the wind blowing in my direction it caused me to slow down. As for newton's third law I saw this video of two guys were jumping on each side of a seesaw one of the guys stood still until the other on fell on the other end of it which caused the other one to move up that due to the force the other one excreted.
ReplyDeletei made a coil using electric currents that ended up creating a magnetic field and then played with the magnetic force wth a neodymium magnet... does that count
ReplyDeleteYea what daniel said. ^.^
ReplyDeleteAn exapmle of newtons 1st law is when i bumped into the wall. An example of newtons 3rd law is when i left a book on the floor it had the same amount of force as the floor
ReplyDeleteNewton's 1st law: A puck sliding on a air hockey table.
ReplyDeleteNewton's 3rd law: Pressing the B button on a Gameboy so my Pokémon won't evolve.
I have been a victim of force!! My boyfriend pushed me down on the trampoline this shows newtons 3rd law. Because his pushed caused me to fall.
ReplyDeleteAn example that I viewed for Newton's 1st Law was when I was playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. When using the Pegasus Boots, Link will charge forward at a constant velocity and continue until he crashes into a wall.
ReplyDeleteAn example of the Newton's 3rd Law is when I was playing Pokemon Y and I made my Pikachu Nuzzle (a physical Electric attack) the opposing Pangoro. As my Pikachu was exerting force on Pangoro, the Pangoro was also exerting a force on Pikachu.
And yes, I am aware Pikachu is "overrated" but watevs man.
Ken from street fighter can excert more force than your yellow fuzz ball pikachu .
DeleteAn example of the Newtons first law is whenever a car is mobing foward and it stops and you move fowards whenever the car hits something. An example for Newton's third law of motion is whenever I was pressing down on the table it exerted the same force between my hand and the table.
ReplyDeletei once crashed into a trash can yup that did make me stop cx
DeleteAn example for the first law is a soccer ball will not move until a player kicks it. For Newton's third law my feet push down on the floor and the floor pushes up my feet as you walk.
ReplyDelete1st Law Of Motion - i was sitting still on a rolling chair until i was thrusted foward by a classmate.
ReplyDelete3rd Law Of Motion - some guy wanted to are wresle, so when we started neither of our arms moved since we were both excerting equal force on each other.
I've also rolled down the hallways with the rolling chairs, it's fun
DeleteA good example of first law would be when we did that cool hover space craft and we had to push people for them to keep rolling .A 3d law example would probably be when i pushed my sister and she said i hit her but in actuality she was too (;
ReplyDeleteAn example for newton's 1st law is me rolling a bowling ball down the alley and the bowling ball hitting the pins making the ball stop. An example for newton's 3rd law is me standing on the ground because the earth exerts the same force and not causing me to fall, just stand still.
